Best Way to Level Up Characters?

What's the best way to level up the characters? Any specific modes? I've done the combo challenges for every character so far and the majority of them are at or over level 8. I'd like to level them up to level 30 so that I can farm FM off of them.

You're definately going to want to do the Survival Modes then. Start with Easy (10 fights), then Medium (30 fights), then Hard (50 fights?) then Extreme/Hell (100 fights). You can probably get your chosen characters to at least level 28 if not higher since you've done their trails already.

what does lvl 30 have to do with farming fight money?

That's way too slow. You need 40,000 just to unlock one costume. That method just doesn't work.

Apparently you get 1,000 FM per level up, and each character has 30 levels. A great way to get FM rather than getting 50 FM per win in online matches. You get no FM if you lose an online match though, so it's not a great way to obtain alot of FM. So essentially that's 30,000 FM per character.

Well you also get no FM or XP if you lose any match in Survival, so buckle up for 100 fights in Extreme, you're in for a ride!

Do what some people do: lock light kick button, put fight request on automatic and leave the game running. You will lose a lot but you also don't need to play the game while leveling. Seen a quite a few players online doing this. Checking their fighter profiles I see they farmed quite a bit.

yup, what NorthWind said. best method for gaining FM now, no joke. Win or lose you still gain EXP. Have Fun!

once you hit level 20 it becomes harder to level them up.

My max is level 25 with Rashid and that's only because I used the recent Shadaloo soldiers that gave a character XP to rank up.

Play each story mode. Do Trials S1, S2 and S2. Survival easy and normal (if you can get it to not rip you off). That's as far as you can go. If you're only at level 8, you've done not much at all. Watch the demonstrations as well. They give character XP I think.

Correct on the FM reward per level. It is around 1000 FM per level. However the amount of XP required to LEVEL up increases. The character limit is 100 not 30 btw. Once you hit around level 60-70 we're talking 100,000 XP to level up each increment...which means a lot of work.

Hence, with level 30, it's somewhere around 5000 XP...which still takes a long time. Get everyone to the low 20s. It will be quicker.

Yeah, I noticed that once I got my R. Mika to level 20. She's level 24 now, but it's quite the chore. I've already completed the story mode though, and I've done a trial or two with each character (Besides the ones I despise as of yet). I've also done Easy and Normal Survival with R. Mika, but I have yet to watch the demonstrations. I'll give that a shot once I get back on the game.

Which difficulty of Survival do you suggest if I end up doing that method?

That is not for survival. It's if for online. That won't work on survival.

Ahhh', okay. So I leave it, lose, and gain XP then? I think I've found a person or two that have done that method.

Yeah, depends on you rank you get xp. Bad side is you will have a lot of losses, good side is you don't need to play anything. It's up to you.
