Frame Drops After Windows 10 April 2018 Update

Prior to this windows update, I had the game working perfect at 4k 60fps.
Since this update however, during ex moves, fireballs, and vtrigger activations im getting huge dips in fps, low as 30fps on vtrigger activate. This makes the game pretty much unplayable of course.
Anyone else encounter this issue post windows april update?

Prior to all this, I had 60fps solid, tweaked effects settings to low, AA low, post processing low. Game worked perfect, except for slight frame drops during supers. But only supers which I can live with.

I've had mysterious FPS probs with this game for a while now, which are unaffected by changing settings in any way. Makes the online unplayable when mixed with the naturally so-so netplay.

Seems like SFV is the only game with such a prob.

I mean in Tekken 7 with the settings I use I get a solid 60, same for Injustice 2.
