Are all characters locked?
If i buy the SFV:AE, the characters are still no readily available? OMG.

if you buy AE you will get everyone but Sakura and Blanka

somebody here said they are locked behind FM. i think its 100k per char. That sucks man.

The only characters that are locked are the Season 3 characters, which includee Sakura, Blanka, and 4 remaining characters yet to be released.

But you have to make sure you're getting the "Arcade Edition" though.

Only Sakura and Blanka are locked. They cost 100k FP to unlock and you get around 230k for beating all the characters stories, so actually you easily get all the characters.
I bought Sakura and reserved money for the next characters that are coming since I'm not really interested in Blanka.

I still hate his guts from USFIV.

He was the worst match-up for my Vega, and he only got buffs every single update.

To be fair, Cody was pretty ♥♥♥♥ during SFIV lifetime.
He had frametraps and damage.... but that was all he got.

He got butcherd on wakeup in a game where Vortex was the Meta, even characters with bad oki could bully him there extremly hard.

Vs Vega though, I felt like Honda trying to fight Guile, the archetypes of the characters made it more hard that it should be, I had an easier time fighting Oni than fighting Cody.

Hey guys, thanks for info. So should i wait for the Ultimate edition? Seems like the AE version is still incomplete.

Street Fighter games are NEVER complete until they announce the next one. Every SF main numberd series has been like this, without exception.

If you want the complete SF5, then wait for the reveal trailer for SF6, that's when you'll know that SF5 is complete.

But the playerbase would have moved on by then, but at least you'll have all the content.

Even SF4 isn't technically complete as there are costumes seperate from the final edition of the game but at least getting Ultra SFIV will get you all the characters. As of right now there is no knowing how many more seasons until they stop releasing characters for SFV. It's been one season pass a year, $30 up until the next one then they drop the price of the pass, and the passes include 6 characters and an extra costume for each character.
