Can't quick rise if you never touch the floor ? Or am I missing something
Edit : You can see from the video that there's zero push back if you don't block it. What amazes me is that it was in the game in august 2017 already and it never got patched
It's an infinite if you can hit your opponent without him being able to do anything.
You can use block+v-reversal, parry and some ex special moves on wakeup against Abigails ex giant flip, thus abigails ex giant flip is not an infinite and intended to be as it is (being able to endless slam the ground if not interrupted).
???
Of course the first hit needs to connect but after that he could hit me non-stop. As I said I was in the corner and he hit me airborne over and over, there was nothing I could do. It got to a point where damage scaling negated all additional damage (so it's an actual combo) and he just kept going until he was bored. That's the definition of an infinite combo
It only doesn't push Abigail's opponent out of range if they're being juggled in the corner, you fall out of the juggle after 10-14 hits, it doesn't re-off the ground juggle once you've fallen out of it, and it pushes Abigail back on block if you're in the corner.
You can tack on up to around 150 damage off a combo/off the ground juggle with it, so in the scheme of things in SFV it's not even that powerful. It's just another way of trolling your opponent with Abigail really.
When he slams the ground he can pick you up again, and this is where you weren't airborne but more like delaying your wake up without realizing it. You can simply quick/back rise out of it and block, it's -8 and pretty punishable. I can understand the confusion tho, the only other OTG (off/on the ground) move in the game that comes to mind is Kolin's VT1 floor spikes.
It's an OTG, not an infinite. Meaning if you do any kind of recovery as your character seems, you'll be able to escape and block. Even if you don't recover it drops after 18 hits or so. It DOES have pushback and you'll be able to escape if you keep blocking. It doesn't have any armor at that point, so you can interupt it with Ryu's st.lk or st.mk.
*facepalm*
The move is 1 bar like every other ex version of a special move in this game.
My brother does this move all the time because it's funny, but it does end as long as you quickrise at the right time.
