Guys, let's team up and find these fricking requirements for that stuff. I can 100% exactly tell those for Street Fighter Alpha arcade mode: you need at least 2-3 perfect rounds and at least 2-3 Critical Art finishes and then, after stage 4 your "rival" shows up. There's no such thing in Street Fighter I arcade mode, but now I'm beating SFII arcade and there IS a new challenger, but I can't get it. For now it appears, that it's mandatory to do perfect on barrels stage, for I haven't done it yet, I always get 18 or 19/20 (T_T)

I believe need 2 prefect rounds, 2 CA, maybe EX

It might just be my memory but I don't *think* you need to perfect the barrel stage, I got it on the SF2 ladder and I'm sure I missed at least a few barrels, like the other guy said, try everything you usually need to do to get secret bosses in SF arcade mode, get the first attack of a round a lot of times, get perfects, get CA finishes, and most importantly I think, don't lose any rounds, if I had to guess that immediately locks you out of it.
There's a small chance you may need to beat the final opponent before the new challenger with a CA but I'm definitely not 100% about that.
I did literally all of hte things above, but didn't perfect the barrel stage and got it.

I'll give it a shot, but I had plenty of perfects and CA finishes and got nothing.
