Hori Rap4.
I cant get the actual directional stick to work no matter what I do all of a sudden. Is there a fix coming or a patch or anytthing? What are my solutions because I tried big picture mode and all the other plug in and plug out methods and still only the buttons function. #devs help!

do it work last time (with original SFV)?

anyway http://hori.jp/info/install/
try download xbox360 controller driver (https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/ja-jp/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows)
and set RAP4 driver to use xbox360 controller for windows

if still not work, then use joytokey or x360ce
afaik RAP4 is directinput... SFV only support xinput
joytokey is for remap keyboard button
x360ce is for translate into xinput

Are you sure you didn't hit the slider on the side to PS3 or PS4 instead of PC?

My RAP4 has a toggle for that, though I know some don't.

There should also be a slider that says DP, LS, RS (directional pad, left stick, right stick). Could be an issue there.

If you have played this with other controllers your config file might be thinking you are still using that. Try deleting it. You can find it with pressing Win+R and then pasting %LOCALAPPDATA%\StreetFighterV\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor. It's the input.ini if i remember correctly.

Hori Rap4 (for ps3/4) works for me out-of-the box in SFV AE. But my second stick lionhart stopped working (was working fine befor update). Can't play with friends on one machine anymore. Pc game with no possibility to set up one player on keyboard, other on controller/stick, or both players on keyboard so I could use joytokey?! WTF CRAPCOM?! Enjoy another negative review!

Actually you no longer need to install additional drivers or D-input wrappers for SFV any longer, it has native D-input support since December 2016.

Steam also implemented native D-input support in big picture mode in ~November 2016, which can interfere with SFV's internal D-input support, so it's often better to disable it in Steam before running SFV.

Try this general fix:

Unplug all your controllers first and then

Reset your SFV controller options

1. Press Win+R
2. Paste:
%LocalAppData%\StreetFighterV\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
3. Delete the file "input.ini"
________________

Additional steps (not always required):

A) for PS3/PS4/D-input controllers:
Set your controller to PS3 mode (if available) and your switch to D-PAD.
OR use the native XBOX 360 input mode (if available).

B) for any controller type:
Disable all 3rd party D-input wrappers + disable Steam controller API options in "Big Picture Mode",
this usually fixes it in most cases.

More details here (controller issues section):

to bypass/navigate through the introduction menus use the keyboard buttons
"B" to accept and "N" to decline

If these buttons are not responding click with your mouse buttons anywhere on the SFV screen, even if the cursor is not visible, this will regain focus, now try to press "B" or "N" again
