Use the update to Copy MK11 to deal with smurfs

Since this game is being updated, please show a win-rate prior to a match starting.

Instantly stop most of the smurf accounts from getting matches.

When Championship Edition is released (much like Arcade) newcomers trying it out will simply get smashed on Rookie by people who are actually Gold/Platinum etc... and never touch it again thinking the game is too hard.

These people are a detriment to opening up the genre to newcomers.

The smurf issue needs to be dealt with.

I don't think this would exactly solve it, but you're right that something needs to be done.

Again, the Smurf complains about other Smurfs, because he is too weak a Smurf. Weeping more, I would have learned to play long ago. You sit in your casuals and are afraid to play the rating.

Anyone who has more than ~55%+ winrate and dont have Diamond+ dirty smurf. A person with a win rate of 65% in Ultra Bronze cannot be Ultra Bronze, because the system would have pushed him up a long time ago. Only you dont play cowardly ranked matches.

Also, donno if you are aware, but a 65% win rate on Ultra Bronze, really, really isn't impressive at all.

I mean I can tell the first thing you did there was attempt to look up my personal data is a really poor attempt at character assassination, since you don't actually have a leg to stand on, in defending such a terrible practice.

If you are so smart just check my cfn and realise that i don't smurf. I am not defending smurfing by any means but it's just funny how you obviously as a smurf yourself complain about other smurfs. Matchmaking is made do have a 50% winrate so you should be good enough to rank up with your 65% winrate. But you don't so this obviously implies that you are a smurf yourself.

Sure. Look at the spike in the pizza at versus screen. If it's just a Power spike that goes directly to 45 or something in early leagues, that signals huge win streaks and a high win%, ergo they're a smurf. Alternate sign is if their player level and character level is extremely low, suggesting they've played only a handful of matches.

What it should show on the confirmation window asking before you accept a match is their ping and a win ratio % also wouldn't be a bad idea. I've fought some bronzes with 96% win rates and didn't know it until after they clobbered me and I checked their profile. Obviously they were playing below their level.

the only way to get rid of smurfs is to disable family sharing on both steam and PS4

as long as you can create endless alt accounts for free at anytime the problem will continue

at least make the smurfs spend money...

W/r is useless. I have around 60-70% w/r in Ultra Diamond yet i am not a smurf and it takes ages to farm & climb. This will not solve any issue.

Placement games (like 20-30 games against the whole spectrum of lvls to get placed) would hep more in my opinion.

In my opinion...

A "smurf" is someone that uses an alt (or similar means) to play against weaker players. This is usually in an effort to attain unrealistic stats.

Doesn't seem like OP's motivation is to have huge stats.

Sure, a 65% winrate means he could move up. Doesn't mean he can go all the way to Diamond+.

Personally, I have a decent winrate in casual, but get crushed in ranked. So I stay in casual. You consider that smurfing?
