SFV Ryu vs Ken - what're the key differences?

Ken seems to be much more popular and better tiered than Ryu. Why is this?

Ken is quite offensive, and his strong shoryuken and EX are among the best blows in the game, with a quick boot and winning from many blows. Your strong Tatsu and EX are also good, crossing the entire screen and getting to the opponent. Ken manages to maintain consistent pressure on his opponent's defense as well. Of course, if you spam these moves (Shoyuken and Tatsu), you also become a predictable player, and the end of these moves is very negative, making you exposed to punishments.

Ken is better.

Ken is easier to use, his legs aren't so short so his normals have better range, deals more damage and is almost better version of Ryu in everything but fireballs.
