Help with Chun-Li Trials

Hello,
I'm trying the trials for Chun-Li to get better at her because I'm not good at the game currently.
I could do the first trial with no problem but I'm having trouble completing the second one.
I've watched the demonstration and I can't seem to get it for the life of me.
It seems there's an animation cancel in the middle of the 2nd attack(Crouching Hard Punch) into the third one(H.Spinning bird kick).
I'm playing on controller by the way.
Essentially I'm asking if there's anything I'm doing wrong.

You have to cancel the 1st hit of C.HP into Bird kick. If you let C.HP hit twice, it will not allow you to cancel.

Theres an option to watch demos if you hit the menu button. Good luck!!

You are holding the down motion too late, from what I see in the video. Hold down as soon as you lift off and you'll charge enough for the spinning bird kick.

You need to do Exactly this: press up-forward to jump, then immediately* press and hold down. Land on Ryu with hard kick, then, because you already holding down, press high punch, and immediately* after - press up and high kick. That's how charging work, you need to hold down or back every free moment.
