How long does it take to unlock Guile?
I've only played Ryu/Cammy/Guile since I was a kid (SF2 Turbo). So that being said, I don't give a♥♥♥♥♥♥about season 2 or 3. I mean, I'll get C VIPER (if ever) and Juri...but that's basically 1-3 unlocks...

how long am I looking at? I don't have much time to grind and I hate CAPCOM with a passion. I am not forking out any $$ besides for the base game.

Not long, just beat the General story mode, and watch the demonstrations that explain the character specials (just mash skip through all of them)

It should only be a few hours if you do it right

Better off buy AE no stress...why because you will need other chars too for training together for your Guile.

I told many times to get AE because everything ready for you it too simple....

AE is going to be $40. Right now the deluxe edition is $36. And he said he's only considering the base game($16), so neither one is going to be appealing to him.

Weeelll I got Menat grinding through characters in story mode. After each ending you get about 10K per char. Its a 100K per gnu character at the shop. Hmmmm now I m wondering if I go on ranked do I get fight money too?

You get 50fm for winning in either casual or ranked match.
