Camera Shake, ini-settings?
Is there any option, tweak or possibility to turn off the camera/screen-shake effect after almost every hit?

I would really like to keep this game, but can't play it for long without getting a headache and feeling somewhere between nauseous and uncomfortable. In other games that also feature an option to toggle the shaking on/off, these problems didn't occur after turning them off.

Thanks for any help

P.S. I could play SF4 just fine which applied the shake effect only to the characters.

There is no camera shake that I can see. Is there something specific you are referring to?
I'm referring to the subtle - albeit constantly occuring - shaking of the whole screen when a character hits or is hit by an attack. Individually this effect increases the visual impact of those attacks. Look for example at the first video featured on the store page of SF5 (the Urien-Trailer).

My guess is most people don't see it if they feel fine and/or haven't yet investigated the reasons why some games make them feel nauseous after playing such games for a bit longer.

P.S. In the Unreal Engine there even is a class for it (UCameraShake), so my hopes are somewhat high that there is an ini-setting to turn it off. With regard to VR-environments the devs of the engine advise to turn camera shaking off, since in such environments more people seem to be affected - so maybe this topic will get more prominent, when/if SF goes VR :D

Yeah I see it now. That is very subtle.
I know it's not the same thing, but have you also turned motion blur off? That usually gives headaches too.
I like that effect, without it the game seems bland and static, with no "punchiness"
Personal preferences aside, it really does make some of us nauseous. I'm in that group too, would be nice to be able to play this game.
For some reason Kolin's heavy attacks cause the screen to shake a bit more than any other character, and it's really distracting. I can't tell if it's intentional, since it hasn't been fixed or even adressed.
