But basically you wanna get a crush counter or a jump in (or neutral jump) combo.
Otherwise try to get him with your Mp, Mp, Hadoken or cr. Mk tatsu.
Basically just try to get bites into combos.
And don't let your get hit by his st. Mk.
And get a good roll of the dice too.
Yeah you got some real combo-meisters out there.
His typical combo flows from his st. Mk and it is a juggling combo as you tatsu and DP though you have to use a particular DP with a particular tatsu.
I've sometimes messed them up because I go too fast because I worry about the time window being too thing (especially when I spot lag in the match).
Or over committed to the combo too, when I didn't have the bite.
Unless you can get his Mk to connect raw or out of some mixing up of things...then you gotta rely on crush counters or jumps I suppose.
It's satisfying when you do his combos but annoying when you mess them up. ;)
right now, anyone can mash out with akuma and get at least gold
Point is, english is not everyone's first language. So how good is your Chinese?
Anyway, to make my post on-topic.. There are way too many Akuma fighters in the silver to platinum range. Literally every 3 characters I fight is Akuma ..or Zangief.
Akuma has a lot of options when it comes to attacks. You can't reliably anti-air him because he can air-fireball whenever he likes. And his meaty is ridiculous.
EX sure you can.
Sometimes also Ryu's V-Skill counter works, if Akuma does not use EX air fireballs or V-Trigger.
Of course you need to read the opponents patterns. The main problem in SFV is that many moves are positive on block, or simply push you out of punishment range on block, which turns into a very aggressive offensive, momentum based gameplay, especially Akumas c.HP should not be that way, because it has a crush counter property.
