The last resort is to uninstall all sound drivers completely from device manager + uninstall sound card software + reboot your PC + let windows reinstall them automatically or manually download/reinstall them from your laptop/sound card manufacturer website.
Try manually downloading your display drivers from Nvidia's website rather than the Geforce Experience. And perform a clean installation of the drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/113444/en-us
Outside of outright uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers:
Go to the Nvidia Control Panel.
Under the 3D Settings list go to manage 3D settings go to the program settings tab and find Street Fighter V (add it manually if you need to). Make sure you set it to the high performance nvidia gpu rather than integrated or auto. Perhaps there is a conflict with the laptop's audio drivers and the nvidia audio drivers for SFV specifically (assuming it might have like realtek hd audio manager or someting for not HDMI audio).
Have you tried to connect your laptop via HDMI to another TV? or use another HDMI cable?
If the issue is specific to SFV then those are the only other things I can think of outside of what was previously commented by myself and others.
- Check your BIOS settings for HDMI/VGA/DVI output options, change it to HDMI if available
- Disable your currently active sound devices/speakers in Windows sound output options, this will usually enable/jump to the next available digital sound output device, if not, then try to enable it manually by setting your HDMI sound device to default.
- Check your nVidia or INTEL GPU driver for HDMI / digital sound output settings and choose your TV there: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2593/~/how-do-i-setup-my-nvidia-based-graphics-card-to-work-with-my-hdtv%3F
btw.:
what is your current TV model/name?
does it have multiple HDMI inputs or digital audio settings ?
ok I've found your TV manual here (it was offline on Sony homepage):
https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.manualdevice.com%2Fmanual%2Fsony%2Ftv%2FKDL40W580B_KDL40W590B_KDL40W600B_KDL48W580B_KDL48W590B_KDL48W600B.pdf&embedded=true
The most important pages are: 4; 16;
Try to use HDMI input 1 or 2 for PC only.
It also looks like there is an electronic / internet manual called i-Manual available on your TV remote. This was the most interesting part:
Setting audio source for HDMI/DVI input => PC AUDIO / HDMI
