Is the wacom tablet problem still in the game?
I'll have to buy 1 for school and I've seen ppl reporting crashes.

Do I have to mess around with drivers, services, etc.? What if it's on wifi mode

i have one but put it in it's pouch when not using it, so it's never plugged in when i play, never had a crash.

fyi graphics tablets are pretty expensive, you don't want it just sitting around if you are not using it

also it's not just tablets and it's just not only this game. A lot of my games will be unplayable if my flight stick is plugged in, menus won't work etc, seems some games get confused when you plug in a control device that is not defined as a controller, and since it's an islolated thing it never gets fixed, i mean how many people who play mgsV also owns a flight stick? And how many people who plays SFV also owns a graphics tablet, resources would be better spent fixing other things.

Yeah, still not fixed yet. Its kind of annoying because I'd love to play osu! while waiting for SFV queue's. :steamfacepalm:

As long as you unplug your tablet/touch devices + disable the Windows handwriting service / Wacom tabtip service before playing SFV it's all fine.

Set the handwriting service to manual or disabled, if you don't need it every day.

^ this

Also I'd like to add that having it "not plugged in" isn't enough, you must disable the service too.
Playing SFV has had a negative impact on my drawing tablet useage :(

my wacom service is running, haven't had a crash

There is a better solution, disable touch keyboard and handwriting panel service in services.msc.

Now you can keep your wacom tablet and drivers running and the game won't crash. I've been doing this for months and it works perfect.

I wish I knew this months ago....

Is it possible to create a shortcut to the service for quick enable/disable functionality?

What does that service do exactly? I can still use the tablet normally right?

The service IS how you use the tablet. Without it, you can't use your tablet, so you must re-enable it after you're done playing SFV.

Not fixed. Just end the process TabTip.exe before starting SFV, otherwise game crashes after 15 or so minutes.

that must be why mine never crashed, i don't use the touch features so switched it off and handwriting recognition is not useful for me so that went off as well.

Too bad for me, my tablet doesn't function without the service.
