fyi graphics tablets are pretty expensive, you don't want it just sitting around if you are not using it
also it's not just tablets and it's just not only this game. A lot of my games will be unplayable if my flight stick is plugged in, menus won't work etc, seems some games get confused when you plug in a control device that is not defined as a controller, and since it's an islolated thing it never gets fixed, i mean how many people who play mgsV also owns a flight stick? And how many people who plays SFV also owns a graphics tablet, resources would be better spent fixing other things.
Set the handwriting service to manual or disabled, if you don't need it every day.
Also I'd like to add that having it "not plugged in" isn't enough, you must disable the service too.
Playing SFV has had a negative impact on my drawing tablet useage :(
Now you can keep your wacom tablet and drivers running and the game won't crash. I've been doing this for months and it works perfect.
Is it possible to create a shortcut to the service for quick enable/disable functionality?
