When I ran into it my instinct was to block. If you're jumping as soon as you see the move then you're being too frisky anyways I think.
It's less cold reaction and more conditioned expectation.
I thought jab would trade with dp (I suppose that's one way of stopping the combo).
Well in training I set the dummy to do the forward Hp, jab, combo and I could Mp DP with Ryu after blocking the chop and beat the jab.
I at first thought only EX would work, but Mp DP worked too.
Hopefully it'd work the same way in an online fight.
