Trying to get the MadCatz TES+ to work with SFV

Hello. I have been trying for several hours to try to get my arcade stick, the MadCatz TES+ fight stick to work with Street Fighter V. I realize that I bought the stick that says it is PS3 and PS4 only, but I saw online that people are directing those uncertain about this stick to methods to getting this stick to be compatible with this game. It works. But for me, I have become so frustrated.

Basically, I was to go to Mad Catz' website, download the driver, plug it in (USB), and restart my computer and it would just install. I did all that and it worked, but when I go to play this game only my Xbox gamepad works. I have Controller Companion on so that I can launch these games on Steam from sitting on a chair further from my PC, but I had gotten it to work last night for a bit. But for some reason it does not work anymore. My PC just refuses to recognize that I have a fight stick in the other port.

Is it an issue with Controller Companion?

I have tried installing the Xbox360ce through that app to see if I could get it to emulate as a 360 controller, just to see if it would recognize but after booting up the game, nope. Still nothing.

Could someone please help me?

x360ce doesn't work anymore because the game now has built-in dinput support.
Have you tried going into the game settings and seeing if you can configure it as a dinput controller? If it still doesn't work, have you tried either removing all Big Picture profiles for that stick or reconfiguring them?

I apologize as I am not too familar with how to do either of those options. Could you tell me how I should find those settings to try both of your suggestions? Would I have to go into the steamapps folder, find Street Fighter V and then the game settings? or do you mean in game? I can't seem to find the game settings.

Okay, for Big Picture, I went into the mode and made sure that the Fight Stick was not being used. It detects it, which I can't do anything about, but I don't have it configured to utilized buttons or anything. Looking to see about the SFV game settings now.

Okay, I feel very stupid. I got it to work. Thank you, Moonmadness. I went into the ingame settings and just had it detect as the 1P controller. Thank you! Thank you so much!!! Oh ♥♥♥♥ I've been working on this for over 4 hours uninstalling and reinstalling that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ driver. Thank you!!!
