I think it's horrible! Absolutely awful. Why is this the only one with lyrics?

Doesn't feel right compared to the rest of the soundtrack.

It does kinda fit his street style story mode outfit, but still. What an annoying tune.

Background / Stage music is always better off without vocals/singers, too bad there is no option for this, all we can do is to create a personal BGM playlist and disabling all the others completely.

The singing with Rashid's theme is better blended in with the music, and is easier to ignore. The style of Ed's theme is harder to block out for the lyric focus. At least for me; I do know people who can work while listening to rap or hiphop, which I cannot do.

I just googled the theme for ed cause I never heard it since ingame music is off, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is that bad. Why, why did they add a track with non stop vocals/talking?

I wouldn't consider those 'lyrics'. More like mixed voice samples, just like in Kolin's theme, or in the Bustling Side Street tune. Not a hindrance. Besides, this is mostly about SFV, not IV.

Also, who is Ingrid? I hear that name sometimes but never seen her in any SF game I own (SFII, SFII Turbo, Super SFII, MarvelvsCapcom series, SF Alpha 1-3, SFEX series, SF3NG, SF3SI, SF33rdImpact, CapcomxSNK, SNKxCapcom, SFIV, SuperSFIV, SFIVAE, USFIV and SFxTekken, probably forgetting a couple).

EDIT: I looked her up. Seems like a cool addition to the series. Looked up her theme song from 'Capcom Fighting Evolution' on youtube as well. Those are true (Japanese?) lyrics indeed, awful. Not SFV though.

But yeah, to each their own. I'm just glad that at least some people appreciate it. I sure don't.
