They do drop randomized loot. You can boss rush if you want, though.

Yeah it's more of a survival game than a traditional RPG (and maybe that's the direction they're going for), but most bipedal enemies are fast, and it may be in your best interest to deal with them.

You can do that, but you miss out on 90% of what the game has to offer - exploration and combat. The loot is often pretty cool as well, I found some of my favorite gear in tucked away chests and on a couple enemies!

Yes, you can optimize the fun out of playing a video game, if you want.

They have a random chance of dropping loot, but I wouldn't call it randomized loot. Once you have their one drop, there is no concrete reason to stay and fight.

Drop chance = depending on luck, they either they give you their item or not.

Randomized loot = sometimes it's a Longsword, sometimes it's a Rusty Longsword, sometimes it's a Masterwork Hellforged Fudge-Coated Strawberry Frosted Longsword.

Except...that's what it is?

CERTAIN enemies will only drop one piece of equipment, but if you're talking like the Poisonous Flowers, or the FlyZombies, they'll each give you a random piece of armor out of a set of 4.

Like the STATS aren't randomized, but you will have to do a little grinding if you want the full set of Onion or Rhino Armor.

Yeah, that's also the case with the Wasp Samurais you encounter all the time! I think they drop their whole set, including the Katana, and you've got a pretty good chance of getting a few of them if you fight your way "properly" through the game

(Course, you're much better off grinding out the first encounter you find them, or you're liable to spend the vast majority of the game with an incomplete set)
