The game is impossible to play seated, can't even leave the jail.

I had just completed the "Key to the Gods" puzzle and defeated the three fire golems with my two water golems. As soon as I beat them and went to step onto the path, I was in a weird textured area where I could see a giant serpent shape in the distance. I could move, but couldn't pull up any menu buttons. Managed to trigger some dialog about "Oh, you made it this far. I should tell whatshisname." I'm in the map room showing the roman encampments where i assume i am to make match the map we find in the cabinet just before the room (screenshot added), yet I am not finding a way to manipulate the map to make it match. On Index if that is of any concern....

After I stop the smooth moving, I usually "teleported" by a short distance along the moving direction. Feels like a kind of a quick jerk. This does not happen every time, but at least in a half of all cases. I play on Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop if that's important....
