Speaking for myself, I'm fighting a losing battle against glasses and small text is sometimes a PIA. :)
95% games I play on PC pairing with a controller. My hands literally hurts for keeping them on a mouse for some time now these days. Haven’t used a mouse for too long. A game like HOMM which takes hours to play a round or two, is definitely not a good idea to play with M&K to me.
If EA doesn’t support controllers, I am afraid I can’t buy it on EA stage. But definitely add it afterwards like Disciples: Liberation has done.
ok you mean no steam deck support on early access? (gamepad support)
"Technically, we've already run the game on Steamdeck and it works fine. But for a full release we will need to work on the interface. So more on that later."
I really love HoMM since childhood, but in recent years I have only played on consoles and Steam Deck. So I really hope for gamepad controls.
