no always online, and no ubisoft accounts

besides requireing you to actually make a good HOMM game, you have one chance to win me back as a customer. If this game requires an always online connection, or uses anything other than a steam account to run the game you can count me out.

I get the impression that Unfrozen agrees, since the open beta for sure won't require uPlay. I think it would be monumentally stupid of Ubisoft to hamstring this game, but it is Ubisoft. Monumentally stupid isn't off the table.

I'm really sorry for the developer, but the bad experience with Ubisoft as responsible publisher in the past (Heroes VII...) doesn't let me think about buying this game at all. Also I miss hot seat option and random maps in announcement. Not to talk about underworld beeing announced as DLC... I'm sad, that Ubisoft still owns the HoMM franchise - for me a no-go to purchase this one.
