Ubisoft game, Ubisoft launcher. Ubi has been butchering this series tirelessly for the last decade and plagued every other franchise with their own launcher, obnoxious monetization choices and by degrading quality of in-game lore in favor of ideologies based on current politics in real life.

Even though i grew up with this series and have huge nostalgia for HoMM games, there is little reason to place trust in Ubisoft as a publisher for a classic high fantasy setting like HoMM.

Even if the developer would remain faithful to the series, we still have Ubisoft sitting on top. Hold on to your wallets until you get your money's worth.
