FINALLY, RANDOM MAP GENERATION

All the newer releases lacked this old feature and I just want say, thanks for bringing it back.

Uh HOMM3 didn't even have random maps, right?

I want to say it was the last to have it. Haven't played it in a while. 2 was my fav.

Edit: it does have it. Even did the subterranean too. You had the overworld and underworld. Me and my friends really only played rando maps.

It was one of the key features of 3 that gave it long term replayability. It was actually the first question that popped into my head when I saw the trailer, "does it have a RMG???"

Nah, the original HOMM3 did not have random maps. That was added in an expansion later on.

HoMM7 also has random map generation.

People sleep on HoMM7 due to the rushed and super buggy launch that game had. But it's super fun, and in my opinion one of the better HoMM games (that isn't HoMM3) to play causally.
