Overall having to cloak isn't that big a deal to me, just make sure to max the aoe dmg on shoot and you're golden, don't ever HAVE to cloak. lol.
Would really appreciate if a high level marksman wrote what the lvl 20 skills did!
-The Mercenary is a very good Tank with high Dmg and group support like vul. Debuff and he can delay Monsters a very long time !
-The Mage can perma spam Lightningbolt every 2 sec with 418% Dmg which hits for me for 4,5k crits sometimes (lv19), at the same time he stuns for 1 sec every enemy also he can buff a nice area with +150% Trap dmg and she has a high surviveability with her invul shield !
-The Marksman has not the best dmg because his skill goes over 5 sec which means using it more then every 5 sec is a waste of focus, sure you can buff it with passiv and the + poison dmg skill + high crit rate (which not high at early levels ) but this seems to me way too much only to make a skill usefull ! His basic skills is nice and fast and his dmg is fine ! Marksman is ok for short fights where he goes in stealth after each of them but in longer fights with tough enemys they run out of focus pretty fast and either they run away and reg focus/health which means they do nothing for a while or they spam the basic attack which is ok but still weak compared to other classes skill spam in longer fights also they cant delay monsters for long and there overall surviveability is low compared to others ! But still i have to say i dont know which skills he get with lv 20 if he doesnt get something strong/OP he will have a tough live !

I see marksman as a really good map managment character, for a team or solo.
Hes got skills that buff traps and turrets, which is handy.
He works well as a hit and run, like ill go to a wave of enemies, buff traps do a poision line shot then run to another spawn and let my defenses clear.
For bosses i do just fine, not the fastest killer but i can hang behind them and kill high hp targets with little fuss from them. The cloak makes it easy to zip around the map.
id assume the sorceress is an artillery spammer, the tank is well...clog up a lane with him...
marksman is the guy that runs around managing the map, as i see it.
I know from other threads his fire and ice skills can do massive damage..when fully leveled, i have his main auto attack somewhat maxed (passives not quite there) it does well enough killing any boss before they get close to the base...
Too bad you can't regenerate gate points which you will surely waste by constatly cloaking.
So the whole hunter's "gameplay" comes down to spamming auto-attack? Gr8 game design.
this is not true. he got 2 very good skills witch do much more dmg then autoattack
