Hope for ps2 sprites patch :/

I really don't like the new sprites at all, it's hard to look at them all and it breaks my heart to see them like this. Maybe I have a bias toward the ps2 sprites aving read that one first. But it's almost as if the artist for this one was someone who drew adult VNs (If it's someone from Manga Gamer, it's VERY likely). It's a diferent style that, in my opinion, does not suit the atmospere of Higurashi too well. Please have a look at the ps2 sprites before (if) you disagree with me :)

IIRC this version will be more mod-friendly, so someone can do a mod like that. Officialy they will launch the game with these new sprites with a option to revert them to the classic ones. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

I understand how you feel, since I prefer Umineko's original sprites over the PS3 version, its a similar opinion.

The option to revert still has not been confirmed, they simply said they were planning to.

It seems the feature has at least been implemented in the current build of the Steam version of Higurashi.

It will most likely happen. The guy responsible for the port even made screenshots demonstrating the sprite switch.

Lol, I finally will be able read it becaluse it HAS new sprites. The old ones are ugly as hell - it was the only one reason, why I waited that long.
