Maybe it is an automatic thing, if the developer includes cards at the time they made (or update) the store page. I wouldn't know. I don't have a developer's account.
That was over a year ago - did this ever happen?
The downloadable version on Groupees and Desura (yes, Desura is still - in a zombie-like way - alive) still seems to be the initial version...
The response was that you were only eligible if you bought a digital copy from MG's store.
Makes sense because all they have to do is update the file that is available for download, rather than distributing and policing a patch. Kinda lazy, but their rules be the rules.
Xenophobia means to hate or fear things that are different, usually referring to foreign races.
VisualArts until recently would not permit any of their games to have an English localisation or a localisation into any foreign markets at all. This is pretty common among Japanese visual novel producers and developers.
In the original version, music is not very great in the beginning, then becomes better and better. In Higurashi kai it's almost great as in Umineko.
Like these ones? These are part of original kai soundtrack and weren't part of mangagamer's kai version (before steam release).

As I already said, Steam release uses the same music as original Japanese version.
