The current controlled technical external test for Redshift Point has officially begun.

If you are reading this, it means you are not just a player—you are among the first wave of field verifiers for the project.

This round of testing is not designed for players who simply want early access or a preview experience.

What we are looking for are individuals willing to look beyond surface presentation and examine the structural core of the game itself.

While the outside world may still be observing, speculating, or even debating what Redshift Point is, you will be among the first to actually touch it, test it, and form a first-hand judgement of its current state.

We have already come a certain distance, but Redshift Point is still in an active growth stage.

Through this controlled yet transparent technical testing phase, we intend to gradually refine the core systems step by step.

If you decide to join us at this stage,
you are not simply participating in a playtest—you are stepping into a development process that is still unfolding.

After this round concludes, we plan to open the next iteration within approximately one month.

The next version is expected to prioritize:

• Integration of the full audio system

• Continued improvements to enemy behavior

• Enhanced perception response

• General stability optimization

This round is a restricted technical test, intended primarily to verify the stability of core systems and collect reproducible technical feedback.

Please note:

Requesting access through the Steam store page does NOT automatically grant playtest eligibility, nor does it complete the application process.

All testing permissions are issued through manual review based on the official questionnaire.

Please be aware:

• Applications without completed questionnaires will not be processed

• Joining community channels does not guarantee test access

• Testing permissions are revocable and not equivalent to public playtest slots

Access will be granted in batches based on:

• Current testing objectives

• Server and infrastructure capacity

• Feedback processing capability

• Completeness of application information

Applicants not admitted in the first batch will be placed in a candidate pool, and may be added in later waves depending on version needs.

This round of testing focuses primarily on the following areas:

• First-person shooting mechanics and core combat feel

• Base enemy behavior and encounter feedback

• Core looting, interaction, and extraction flow

• Movement, cover usage, and encounter pacing

• Stability, performance, and issue identification

The current playable map is:

Ennia Industrial Complex (Zone A – Partial Area)

Other areas may be accessible for free exploration but are not part of the primary test scope, and their stability is not guaranteed.

Please note that the currently available content represents only the systems completed or prioritized for this test phase.

It does not represent the full system set, gameplay scope, or final quality level of the project.

To make this round of testing extremely focused on tactical behavior and decision dynamics, we intentionally removed several unfinished presentation layers.

This means you will encounter a rough but entirely authentic technical skeleton of the game.

Enemy characters currently do not use their final art assets.
Instead, lightweight white-box placeholder models are used.

This allows our early generative dynamic behavior system to run at full capacity.

Their reactions may appear unpredictable—sometimes cautious, sometimes surprisingly cunning.
This variability is exactly what we need players to help verify.

You will not hear the final spatial acoustics or environmental audio simulation.

The current build uses a temporary sound asset pool, designed solely to provide basic directional awareness of threats.

The full realistic audio simulation system will be introduced in the next iteration once underlying systems are stabilized.

Within the lore of Redshift Point, anomalies originate from the concept that reality itself has become partially digitized and corrupted.

Ironically, the anomaly system itself is driven by generative AI—and at this stage it is extremely unstable.

It may randomly teleport players during combat or even generate terrain anomalies beneath them.

While these behaviors can be fascinating, they are currently too disruptive for structured testing, and have therefore been temporarily removed.

The questionnaire is the only valid entry point for the testing application.

Applications that do not complete the questionnaire or confirm the testing guidelines will not enter the review queue.

Players who join the test are expected to provide two types of critical support.

Players holding P2 Pioneer Test status may scan the provided QR code to access the internal test handbook.

Examples:

• “Looting feels too constrained under current weight limits”

• “Enemy encounters lack pressure”

• “Extraction moments feel too predictable”

Do not worry about using professional terminology.
Your first instinctive reactions are valuable and help guide the game's direction.

If you encounter issues that block gameplay flow, please provide:

• Exact location in the map

• Actions taken before the issue occurred

• Description of what the game did incorrectly

Screenshots or recordings are extremely helpful.

All feedback will be classified and processed, rather than disappearing into a void.

While not every suggestion can be implemented immediately, high-frequency issues will appear in subsequent patch notes.

To maintain testing efficiency, feedback will be categorized into:

• Overall gameplay impressions

• Specific issue reports

• Reproducible bug submissions

• Performance and stability issues

• Suggestions for long-term observation

We cannot promise that every individual report will result in immediate changes.

However, meaningful feedback will be integrated into the ongoing iteration cycle.

This is not a typical early-access preview.

You are applying to join a controlled technical testing phase.

If accepted, you will:

• Access the current true system state of the game

• Participate directly in core system validation

• See your feedback potentially influence future iterations

For a project still under development, such testing phases are usually opened to only a small number of participants.

This round is therefore closer to development collaboration than to a traditional public playtest.

In many ways, it also echoes the collaborative spirit of the project's early community experiments in 2023.
