Small demo patch

Hey there!

We added another small patch for the demo.

Highlights:

Korean, Italian, and Arabic languages are now supported, both in-game and on the steam page
Translations have been slightly improved overall, both in-game, and on the steam page
The hint pop-ups have been reworded to be a lot clearer in different languages
A crash when you press X has been fixed

Thanks again for all the positive and critical feedback to anyone who played the demo. We are hard at work improving the game and your input will play a big role in how the game shapes up.

Language Update

We're thrilled to see so many people playing and enjoying the demo! Watching videos of playthroughs and reading your feedback and comments has been a blast!

And we've been listening to your requests. That's why today, we updated the demo with support for 7 additional languages, improved performance, as well as several quality of life improvements.

The new languages are (in no particular order):

Japanese
German
Portuguese
Russian
French
Spanish
Chinese (simplified)

As a small 2-person team, we don't have the resources to get the translations perfect on the first try. But we wanted to prioritise adding these languages for you as soon as possible. If you do encounter any translation errors, we've created a thread in the community hub here on Steam where you can post any translation improvements you may have!

And as a second part to this update, we've also added several quality of life improvements, as per your feedback. These updates revolve mostly around improved performance and clearer signposting for important gameplay elements. Below is a list of the most important changes:

Added Low, Medium, and High graphics quality settings
Added Vsync option to the settings
Unlocked the game's aspect ratio to run on all monitors, including widescreen
Improved visibility of the ammo at the start of the game
Improved visibility of the flashlight item pickup
Improved colour balancing, so that dark areas are truly dark

There will be further improvements to the demo and languages added, so keep your feedback coming!

SATANIC Demo now available!

Fitting for this spooky season of the year, the SATANIC demo is now live and ready to play!

Pressing the release button was an absolute thrill and we're super excited for this first playable look at the game to be out in the world now. We thoroughly hope you'll have a terrific time with the demo!

We'll take a day off to celebrate, then it's straight back to improving the demo and building the game! If you encounter any game-breaking issues or bugs, we'll hopefully be able to address those in the coming days. Let us know about your experience in the demo!
We're having an absolute blast working on SATANIC and can't wait to see the best possible version of it come to life. We hope you're in for the journey as well!

Really Wanted to Play this Demo

I guess the minimum requirement is a video card. Definitely didn't work on an Iris Plus. Lots of hitching and fatal errors even on low quality. I could barely get out of the white screen. Maybe this is due to hardware ray tracing. Also experienced all kinds of problems with window resizing. Windows seemed to be caching previous menu screens....

Can't get past the opening

It's obvious I'm missing something, but I've spent about 30 minutes in the opening scene scouring every inch of the prison cells, and I can not find my way out, and finally just gave up. I simply don't understand what I'm supposed to do or find. Are there more keys than the ones needed to open the cell doors? If so, where? Like I said, I covered every inch of the cells and the only keys I found open cell doors. I also tried making noise hoping something might come in that I can hide from (then take advanta...
