1. Open NVIDIA control panel.
2. Under '3D settings' open 'Manage 3D settings'.
3. Focus tab 'Program settings'.
4. 'Select a program to customize' either find your program or find an executable using 'Add'.
5. Find 'Preferred refresh rate' (not 'Max frame rate'!) and set it to 'application-controlled'.
Hope that helps.
EDIT: Well actually.... The game runs at like 10 fps when using that option, so it is highly unplayable Sadge....
Does anyone have another fix?
The problem is that all the methods above didn't work for me, and I am using a Windows 11 laptop with a 144Hz display. I don't have any options in my NVIDIA Control Panel that say Preferred Refresh Rate, and I am not using multiple monitors on my laptop. My old and now broken Windows 10 laptop ran this game properly with no issues. I hope there's a new method for Windows 11 compatibility. Along with Memory Access Violation, whenever I ran the game, it gave me either a frozen screen or weird glitches on-screen that is unplayable
