Platypus

Platypus

Run the game successfully
1. Download the "DXWnd" from SourceForge, and install it.
2. Open the "DXWnd" add a new item, and fill the path of the executable file of the game in "Path" and "Launch" blank.
3. Click "OK", then run the game from DXWnd.
Now you can play Platypus and wait for it be Reclayed.

PS. If the game pops out "Memory access violation", modify the setup in the "DirectX" tab change the "DirectX version hook" to ''DirectX 1~6", and change the "Renderer" to "OpenGL".(I solve the problem in this way, may not work on your situation)

PPS. If you try to use some "advanced technology" and also want to run the game in windowed mode like me, you have to choose "ON" of "Mouse Clipper" in the "Mouse" tab. And better check the "Kee cursor within window" option of "Cursor handling".(Or the cursor will escape from the window, too bad.)

FYI. My computer runs Windows 10 22H2(19045.4291)

I accidentally made the game runs today. A couple times before, The game has to run with some steam magic which I have no idea what it is. (If my memory was correct.) So this game can't run under DXWnd. But when I try to play the game today I find out it can run without the steam magic. Then I memorize the way I run an old game called "Killer Tank". I think I could have a try. The worst situation I get is can't run the game again so why not. Then I set up the software and miracle happens. The game runs smoothly.
