Join in on the fun with some new updates to the game! We finally reworked the storage system! You’ll be able to filter items, sort them, and split item stacks! New artifacts have also been added, gave voices to our NPCs, and so on!

All servers will be open for the playtest, and you can find the start and end dates below:

START: April 9, 9 AM CEST
END: April 13th, 11:59 PM CEST

⚠ Important note: we made some big server changes for this Playtest, and found an issue during our latest technical test. We aim to fix it before this playtest starts, but there is still a chance it may get slightly postponed. We’ll keep you posted if this happens. You can head to our Discord Server to follow the issue more closely.

PLAYTEST TEASER


We want you to have more ways to customize your playstyle! Activatable items will allow you to create your own kit and surprise your opponents. From a blink-stone allowing you to teleport to a short distance, to a fireball, or even a way to become temporarily invisible! You can loot activatable items on monsters.

Visit the Mage Tower, an abandoned tower around the middle of the map where you might find some good loot. We also added Explosive barrels, a new toy to annoy the Scrats with, along with some destructible environments! Some locked areas are also harder now.

The end of the playtest is near. We have considered extending it for a few days, but the devs and the CM need to take some time to rest 😴. The reception for this playtest has been wonderful and we need to rest up so that we can look at all the feedback and bug reports. What’s that? Well, the devs at BetaDwraf came up with this fun and chaotic event that all of you can take part in. In the last hour of the playtest, from Friday 7th, 9 pm CET, some devs will use our dev cheats to do some pretty whacky and crazy stuff!

But we will leave that as a surprise for you 👀! If you want to take part in this event, join us 1h before the playtest ends, gather your best gear, and let’s have some pure fun chaos! Because you’ll lose your gear after the playtest anyway 💀

Note: We will not interfere with big boss areas such as Bahra, for those of you who want to complete those instead of taking part in the event with the devs.

With these portals, you will be able to extract with your duo at the same time. So no more venturing out to find a second portal, BUT beware of other teams that will fight you for those portals.


In the next playtest, we introduce something a lot of you have been waiting for! Drum roll... an in-game tutorial! This will make things a bit easier for newer players and get them started in the world of Project F4E.

Change up your gameplay with this big change! We are introducing a new feature called Artifacts. Find, awaken and upgrade artifacts to get permanent bonuses to your characters.


We have also made some changes to dynamic elements (such as the storms, stone circle events, mini-bosses, items you craft in pinewood etc.). You can now create your own storms which can distract your enemies and slow them down. There will also be an easier version of the stone circle events.

Lifeless NPCs in the lobby are no more! You’ll now be able to interact with them: some of them are vendors, while others will give you quests to complete. This is just the start, as we aim to have more interactable NPCs in the future, each with a special purpose, like managing your perks or crafting items.

It's summer already, and we are back with another Project F4E Playtest! This test will run on all our servers (Europe, North America, South America, and South Asia). This one is a bit shorter because we are COOKING epic things for our next test!

We worked on a new permanent system that will allow you to accumulate points (what we call “Legacy Points”), which will be kept forever (not wiped between playtests), allowing you to purchase some very cool rewards. It will be active even post-launch, showing off your Legacy forever.

Prologue Points from the old iteration of F4E have now been converted to Legacy.

During this playtest, the Dragonvault will be going under maintenance for reasons such as art upgrades, bug fixes, NPC balancing and overall quality upgrades.

New gameplay changes were made to help players get a chance to complete their challenges and progress through the game without having to worry about the encroaching circle. Changes were also made to help the balance between solo and duo players in the same match. Here is what you’ll experience in the upcoming test:

Yes, you read that right! You can express your feelings and intents to your friends, potential new friends, and foes.

Niblers is our newest NPC addition, but this time, he is not an enemy and could very well be your best friend in a time of need. Niblers will wander on the map, carrying loot in his bag that you can purchase from him, or sell things you do not need to free up space.

We have changed how the circle will work in Project F4E. Each match will start with 15 min on the timer, and once the timer reaches 5 min, you will get a message prompt saying “The area is becoming unstable” and the circle will start to move, so keep an eye on your map!

Portals will start spawning as the circle starts to appear. Some portal locations are fixed on the map, while others will spawn next to the final circle location.

To help with balancing solo and duo players in the same matches, we have added the Lone Wolf perk which will be given to players going in solo. This perk gives solo players some extra strength to help them against duo players.
