All of my progress got erased?

I booted it up today after a few days of not playing and all of my puzzles are undone, my times are blank. What happened, and can I fix it?

Honestly, I just kinda gave up and started again. Put it down pretty quickly though, I found it a touch too demoralizing to try again just after losing all that. Any reaction from the dev?

All of my progress got erased too, and I had all of the medium and easy puzzles done, so this is kind of frustrating. I don't want to have to redo all of that just for one achievement.

you only need a savegame with all achievements (lexica.sav)
then you have to deactivate the steam cloud for Lexica and then put it into the right location (SteamApps\common\Lexica)
then start the game and wait a minute. works great. i have done this on my wife´s pc
