1st situation: I get to level 9, I miss the lizard, I go to sleep, I'm sent back to day 1. 2nd situation: I get to level 9, I see the lizard, I go to the door, I'm sent back to day 1. Is it a bug or am I missing something?

Is it normal that sometimes when I go to sleep there's just a black screen and I can't do anything about it? First happened to me on day 5 and I've still heard the music from the outside, so I guess new day couldn't be properly loaded. Next time happened on day 7, I still hear the water, but I can't call the menu or anything, my only option is alt-f4 and even if I just quit that way the changes I made in settings won't be saved......
