Dear God, that game really is living rent free on some people's heads, isn't it? I wonder if they've ever tried just playing games and actually enjoying them, instead of subsisting on a diet of nothing but performative outrage videos on Youtube, telling them to always be angry at stuff.
That is just how some people are.
Some people really need to get out of their chair.
Take a look in the mirror.
Ask themselves the following question.
What am I doing with my life?
Then move on with their life because it is a pointless waste of time to argue over stuff like this...
Avowed is a new IP and Yakuza got into the mainstream
What a blatant lie and misinformation, This is nothing but malicious criticism.
yakuza pirate = 18,288 all time peak so far and 15k playing right now
avowed = 17,490 all time peak so far and 14,218 playing right now.
And people say that Avowed is a massive catastrophic failure, one of the biggest flops of 2025 so by that logic Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza is also a massive flop.
It was never hyped up as you described, only by the people who convinced themselves that it was the "next Skyrim" and whatnot.
I am going to play both, as will many others I am sure.
