is this game worth getting into in 2025?

for single player experience, yes. and u need to have very good self restraint and no FOMO. they put every possible way to disgust u forcing u to login and do many thing everyday to get costume, mount etc. this game used to be good when u can login do anything u like, sometime dungeon, sometime pvp, sometime questing. but now every day every week every month they give u some task to do certain thing to get reward, that make u feels like u dont wanna do anything at all like the game used to be, and just wait for the reward requirement then only u do them, then only u play the game. in another trash mmo i used to play but stopped, u can do those requirement anytime u like, u still eventually get the toys, the mount etc, because for instance they available to sell by zone merchant anytime after u completed the required achievement, but in eso, u will miss those thing if not complete within certain amount of days.

TLDR: frustating and dying game, but playable enjoyable if u not asking much

one final note, even u bought the full complete version of this game, u still missing dozens of small zone dlc and dungeon dlc, be sure u can take it, as i saw someone make postt complaining not long ago

This game is 10x better experience than my time with MMO's like BDO, GW2, WOW, SWOTR, LOTRO etc etc.

I literally made this account to only play ESO. Best game ever.

The game clearly states upgrade only unlocks the recent dlc, not all. collection unlocks all.

ESO costs under $10 sometimes and that is all you need, and I like the buy as you play mindset.

I will gladly throw more money at this game because its actually the most fun i've had in years.
