By the way, Alienware blocks access to the site for users from Kazakhstan and the CIS, so such cooperation also cuts off a layer of players. Where are the normal events? First, an empty week of suffering for players with a subscription without any compensation like in other games, now pvp and “Sorry, we don’t like the country where you live, so you won’t be able to pick up the suit in the game you bought and where you paid for a year's subscription in advance” (despite the fact that TESO is available for purchase in Kazakhstan)
players right now lmao ok kid
check that update before doing events :)
We know about Zeal of Zenithar, but let's be honest, it's pretty bad, to say the least: one box for purchases from guild traders, one box for one crafting writ for the entire account, and then just running around Craglorn killing the poor gargoyle (it’s had an especially tough week). And the loot from these boxes is bad: the best I got was a measly 1000 Tel Var stones, once.
And what about the discrimination against players from Kazakhstan by Alienware? I supported the game, paid almost 50,000 tenge (which is a third of a month’s salary in my city, near 100$) expecting something cool, but instead, I get a free week for others without any compensation and a "gift" from Alienware that says, "You get nothing, we don’t like your country." A response like "just use a VPN" is not acceptable because VPNs are banned in our country, except for the Russian one, which also won’t let us access the site (for obvious reasons)
You answer your own question. Anytime something is unavailable in a certain country is because of that country laws.
Do you seriously think that in my country they have legally banned access to a single website where people go for various free in-game items?
Probably somewhere in line of marketing and sharing personal data. You say yourself you are not allowed to use vpn, you country probably have some weird ass laws.
