i downloaded the file off the website and installing it in the steamapps/common folder, does it not come up on the list until the Free-time comes live?

@Enocto, Wrong, pre load should of been live 10 hours ago "You can begin downloading the game now on Steam so you’re ready to team up with friends"

@vospades you have to wait til it comes free than when you go to install it it will find that folder.

remember its like every steam games when you move files to another drive.

The PS4 both version went on sale so I hope PC gets the same treatment. Base game is just £8 on ps4 atm.

Would I have to use steam to play ESO free for the weekend or can I use their Client from the website?

so i already have eso but if i download this steam client, will i be able to link my ESO account to steam? and when the event ends, will i be able to login from steam?
