buy the gold edition

I was able to play prior to buying the game, now when I login I get a message saying check e-mail account needs to be verified, but received no e-mail :(

@Abisius I did yesterday while the free weekend was still active. I only had the problem once I purchased the game.

Okay so I played in the beta before launch and I still have that account, if I buy it on stream do i link my steam account to my existing beta account? Or do i need an all new account specifically linked to my steam account?

Essentially is there any way for me to buy the gold edition and play it on steam with my existing beta account?

It's a great deal to try it free... that is if the download didnt take the entire time that the free trial lasted....

I am glad to try it free - it is nothing compared to Skyrim in the Graphics and combat and storyline... I know Skyrim set the bar very high, but Bethesda should be technically skilled enough to download 4K graphics for ESOL in the background or upfront in the almost 70GB download. It looks like a PlayStation 3 game and plays like a playstation 3 game on PC.
DEFIANCE is a better game, and not pay to play ''crowns'' you can indeed play DEFIANCE free, or buy stuff - your choice. If you enjoy exploring new worlds, SecondLife is better than ESOL.

I never got to get on. so guess it was not worth getting after. plus no help at all from anyone. I have auto responses that take you to nothing that will help.

@none, You do know that Zenimax Online Studios was the development end of the game yes? Bethesda is only the publisher, they hired Zenimax because Bethesda openly admits they know nothing about MMO's and Zenimax has experience in the MMO market. So you can't expect a perfect translation from a single player experience to a larger MMO format. After all they are two seperate platforms of entertainment.

dxball for example is a bgreat game, but the graphic is absolutly nothing ;)

Unfortunately I could not test the game. 84 GB download and then an error. A click on Repair and you could download again all 84 GB. wtf

The download is massive but early impressions are it's worth the discounted price.

Played it for free, liked it, bought it, wanted to keep on playing ...no stop ... it says: i have to download the whole 68 GB again ...wtf ... Little pissed of now. Gotta wait another 3 Days or so, till my 10K Kb/s-DSL will have downloaded it another time ... -_-
