What is the difference gold and premium editions?

Looks like both have base game and all chapters. If not getting premium edition will i miss out on anything...really?

It is "Gold Road" - name of the previous chapter. So this version doesnt include new content from "Premium pass".
ED: They always sell old chapter for some time after new chapter comes out. Maybe month or 2. Or maybe during preorder of a new chapter... don't remember.

ED2: i said "new chapter" but they have changed selling model. In the past it was chapter (steam) + dungeon packs (crown store) + small zone dlc (crown store). Now they sell season pass - all the content of next season in one bundle. It cost more tnan 1 chapter. As for the volume of content, I don't know.

Simple answer... Gold Road was on sale for like..What...10 bucks?... So, that's how they lured me into playing...It was an awesome deal for the product you got. I'm still on Gold Road. I've got plenty left to do in game....
What is "Premium? It's shark bait. Chum for the big time "whales" who are completionists and want the latest and greatest at any price. Lol! Had to say that... But really... There are veteran players out there who have played for years and completed the game. This is for the "die hard" fans of ESO. If you're new to the game, just go with Gold Road and start working the quests...There is enough content in there to keep you busy for a long time. ESO+(plus) membership is optional and is "not needed" to play the game. But it does have some time saving perks in it and it's a nice revenue stream for the devs if you want to support them on monthly basis....Totally up to you....But it would be smart to get good at the game first so you'll know how to take advantage of the perks they give you... So just play the dang game! Get good first! Then consider how and where to spend money in game once you learn all of the features and mechanics of it...Because there are many, many things to spend money on. Choose wisely!

Gold is very old pack which hard to find and only give u extra few small dlc.
premium is new upcoming pack that suck your coin without giving u much, just buy when gold road (2024) collection pack on sale. that 75% off at least.

There is no "Gold Edition". Did you mean Gold Road Collection, or 2025 Content Pass?

Gold Road Collection = base game + all 8 "Chapter" DLCs up to 2024's Gold Road.

2025 Content Pass = all four 2025 DLCs + a new mount, pet, and memento. No base game, no older DLCs.

2025 Premium Edition = Gold Road Collection + 2025 Content Pass.

(EDIT: Oh yeah, there WAS a "Gold Edition" 9 years ago. It only included the base game and first 4 DLCs -- Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. That was before they started releasing "Chapters". There have been over two dozen more DLCs since then.)
