Support sent me a list of things to try which I'd already told them I'd done and had not worked. I went to sleep, woke up and it's seemingly OK today. So definitely something transient and network related and, given Matt's recent message, maybe you are right.
It's almost like they need to be bought out by a leading cloud provider who also happens to be the world's largest information security company, and take some of those lessons learned and tools on-board to protect against this sort of baseline security threat. Oh, wait a minute...
