Weapon enchantment decreasing damage value

I don't understand how it work, every where I read about enchantments says they are forever on the weapon, but every weapon I am using Bow/staff that either I find or applies a glyph too , lose enchantment damage over time , also lose base damage to . is this normal ? Is that with every weapons for every body forever ?or m I missing something ? Help that bug me

I am pretty sure the damage stays static but you need to charge it with a soul gem every now and again. I may be wrong though

I have screenshot of it :d and it happens every time , I am playing on Xbox though. I just realized that maybe because I am still leveling up and I am LV 40 now. So when I am Leveling, I am out leveling gear ,is this why damage drop? But it sims just to much to fast. I hear something that all content isblock to lv50/160 champion . I am just LV 40 on first play through (dasendamage drop from1100 to like 950, and enchantments from 2000 to 1400, even prophet bow that deal dmg base on max hp drop it max damage dealt from4k to 3.5k in like one or two level gained)

enchantments do not decrease over time.
weapon enchantments need to be charged with soulgems.
armor and jewelry ones just are passives.

I am sure that the damage in the iteam description go down with time , but maybe it's not time but when I level up, and items stay on lower lever then me, they got less scaling as they fall behind , need to test this . If some one could Denny or confirm that . The fact is damage in description go down , dlthat isn't part of the question I witness and have prove on many items :p I just not sure why, every body taking how glyph enchantment are forever , but not if you level up , they simply sims to weeken .

you level up, and the items that are bellow your level, deal less dmg and all the stats are lowered

Your damage is lowering because your level is raising. In order to maintain damage, you have to get gear at your level. This all stops at level 160, btw. So it's not an endless cycle.
