But on the other hand, it's still cheaper than buying the 3 sections you don't own if you'd bought them when they were each new, so there is that.
And if you have ESO+, you don't need any of the DLC because all but the most current is included if you just keep subscribing.
The other way you could it, if looking for discounts, is wait for sales. And there's a few ways you could do that. The crowns go on sale yearly, I think. Individual DLCs go on sale in the cash shop, periodically. So you could buy the crowns when they are on sale, and save them to buy the DLC when it's on sale. The membership includes a certain number of crowns, and it's cheaper to buy the membership for the crowns than to buy the crowns for the crowns. The membership itself does go on sale, yearly too, I think. And you could also wait for the bundle on steam to go on sale, which they do.
Or you could, you know, just impulse buy it now and choose not to think about the cost.
And it's not like you actually need the most current content to play the game. It plays fine without the new and shiny options.
and promoting crown even during sale for a dying game is meh
