Outside that. GW2 is largely the better game due to better combat, pvp and much, much better public events.
And while it's a matter of taste, I prefer the art in GW2.
People that play it say that it's their 'side MMORPG' that they pick up when they're bored of their main game. They also say that the quest/story are bad and the dialogue sucks, but "whatever, I still like it" I guess.
The only good things that I see online that people say about GW2 is that the combat is great (with specific emphasis on PvP) and the flying mounts have a cool mechanic like the one World of Warcraft copied for Dragonflight.
Wouldn't even compare GW2 to anything because almost any other popular MMORPG including honorable mentions are better options.
The MMO genre as a whole is stagnant and the genre itself can be considered in a death spiral.
and your point about old cyro for old pvp player while this new mode for noob pve player is not correct, because noob pve player eventually left cyrodil, they never have patient for pvp, else they would have already joiining old cyrodil
