Quests offer great experience so do those normally. When you start to get tired of that, switch over to anchors. You may question why not do similar events in newer zones. The answer there is that anchor events in original zones can be completed very fast and you often have farm groups running a continuous circuit from one to the next non stop.
Easy experience/champion points.
You also have open world trash mob grind spots where you can do circuits as well but those are usually camped by tons of morons who seem fixed on employing spiteful tactics rather than entertaining any notion of sharing.
