Unarmed build

[Epiqure]

I'm roleplaying as a dragon trapped in the body if a humanoid, so no weapon and no armor (except for jewels), only my fists, abilities (dragonknight skills of course, and a few others) and fighting skills (dodging, blocking, etc..when appropriate).

Are there other people here trying this challenge ? Got any tip on how to be more efficient with such a "build" ?

The Dark Elf is the best race for Dragonknight with their passive skills set. Keep a set of daggers (Duel wield) on hot key. Duel flurry is a great skill in a pinch. (I keep it in #5 slot) I would also recommend AFTER reaching level 20, go to Stros M'kai and complete the main quest for that area and receive the "Gallant Chain" armor. Looks cool for a dragon type. The Armor looks different if you complete quest at lower level straight from Coldharbour.

I've not tried an unarmed DK, but unarmed sorc works. A guild I belong to once did a challenge to solo a world boss naked and sorc on Limbscather was good fun.

For your DK, there are 3 piece sets which have jewellery, for example willpower > https://eso-sets.com/set/willpower, or armour of the trainee for more health > https://eso-sets.com/set/armor-of-the-trainee . Or you could just run 3 pieces of a 5 piece such as Adept rider for more armour, which could work for your idea of a two legged dragon.

You could do overland content like this for sure, I would not recommend group content though as you'll just be a detriment to your team. I'd say all points in stamina or magicka, penetration mundus(the lover) and 2 piece penetration set + druid's braid/trainee or other 1 piece set for jewelry

Cool, thanks for your inputs, I'll have a look. Regarding the race I hesitate between Imperial (the closest to dragons regarding the lore) and argonian (because, obviously, reptilian at least).

For your build, there should be another type of melee weapon that you could use that doesn't handicap you the way you're playing. Runescape has "dragon claws", but unfortunately I don't think this game has anything like that. Maybe you can write to the dev team and see if they have any ideas.

You could get a monster set also? then use the outfit station to hide shoulder and head.

Speaking of hiding armor, you might be able to squeeze in Gloves and feet aswell? there are some easy to hide Gloves (Prisioner shackles, sunspire gloves and some others that are more or less just handwraps come to mind) And for the feet there is some sandals.

that way you get 7 slots to play with.

Argonian is probably a good idea for your sustain, as they get a bonus from potions... something tells me you'l need it ^^

There are some Mythics that could help you out as well, thinking either Oakensoul ring, gives a bunch of buffs. Or... i think its called Belharza's Band. Increases your light attack damage, it does however have a "Spawn a charging Minotaur" effect after a few hits.

Not sure if it works, but check out the Psijic skill line. There a skill there that makes your light attacks do more damage as well.

Those were the things that came up in my head off the bat.
Ive only tried a no weapon build ^^ It was fun, but not that effective.

Does it even matter to have a build? The game is made so braindead easy that you can walk around naked and tank 10 mobs at a time.

While about 80-90% of the game is like this, the real challenge is being able to solo group events and world bosses. I know, basically what I told you to do was play content that wasn't designed to be done single-handedly. But it feels cool to be able to do it. There are also veteran trials where you can blame everyone else every time you die because you stopped taking the game seriously when you were actually supposed to for once.

^^ have fun! :D i once saw a group of naked players standing in a ring, obviously went up to them to see what they were doing (as one does). And they challenged me to a naked duel, which i offcourse accepted :D And i even won! (khajiit totaly didnt use its claws)

Silliness like that is one of the reasons i love this game.
