I download a 119GB from steam and NOW again 96GB more? WTF ?

Steam only has the game files from like 2018. The launcher got the rest and is the most updated.

I see the double install is still a thing, even all those years later.

Even better - if you run out of space anytime during the install, the launcher will just delete your game files and you can start again. It was ridiculous as this when the game launched and they didn't even bother to fix it in that long time ever since.

Even old games like LotRO have launchers the can do increment updates, but apparently, Bethesda/Zenimax couldn't be bothered fixing their own bugs as always.
