Then u have all expansions
base game not worth it, u got antiquity lead? u cant dig
u have jewelry? u cant access jewelry station
wanna access scribe skill? cant
wanna try warden, arcanist or necromancer class? no u cant
and yes, the game is not dying, if u believe it
As for Vanilla vs Gold Road. That's like playing Vanilla WoW vs WoW. If you like the game, you'll want to upgrade. Vanilla is way out of date, very easy, graphics are worse, lots of missing stuff, etc. If you just want something to do, and don't really care, then maybe vanilla? Kind of like a trial version, I guess.
I haven't touched it since DLC started coming out, has the game changed in any major way since I last played?
i regret buying gold road, scribing is meh and most skills were nerfed after release
But you know we played the game like that? There was no leads before, there was no jewelry thing before and it was fine. They added later them with expansions and locked behind them. Could be better, but the game did not got worse. Because you're getting same thing as everyone before. And for 1,99 you will have enough gameplay without even touching anything from those expansions.
