Yesterday, a so-called '/trumpetsolo' emote just dropped into players' laps through login rewards. So, naturally, all the annoying players are in the major cities just blasting an auditory meme on loop.

While I like ESO, I don't like it enough to not warn new players against buying the game.

Wait on the next discount; it shouldn't have as many obnoxious players by then.

Meh im 51 years old been gaming most of my life and ive yet to play an MMO thats worth even having the sound on for lol.

It seems there always seems to be something annoying added, last i knew it it was the hellish mount some people kept unmonting and re mounting just for that effect on the floor and loud sound effect it comes with.

Next was the witch cauldron that would do some loud bat sounds when it despawned but yeah lots of people placed it everywhere and even spread it out so hardly anywhere was avoid by it.

Lastly then it was pies attacks that could cancel some animations / stop you from what you were doing, it was annoying when the game kicked me out of the menu after being pied.

And now this! If people really do get annoyed by players doing things to try annoy others then no waiting on a next discount will ever save you from this behaviour in eso. Just not buying it will save you. But then you miss out on this game, i know i've never seen tons of mmo's but compared to the 3 i have played before this game, this is sure the best one i've played by far in the mmo space.

I've yet to see anyone dooting aggressively and I'm honestly disappointed considering how strongly opinionated a lot of the internet seems to be on the emote. They act as if every player in every zone is using it at all hours; maybe they're all in Necrom or something I suppose.

just turn the sounds down in the game, most mmo sounds/music/voices suck anyway, just put on a podcast or audiobook or something else in the background

If i badly want to hear this noise, how exactly to do i do it, purposefully? funny, i dont hear any/all sound/noise/emotes anywhere and ive been playing eso since 2015

So many annoying things in this game ! .. Mud pies are annoying , the worst for me is when going into a town you cannot see a thing due to all the fools standing around with a couple of pets flapping in everyone elses face ! The odd thing is that these players do not seem interested in actually going doing quests etc , they just stand there for hours on end , making the game boring for everyone else ! Trumpets blaring ? I can just turn the sound off and carry on playing !

I haven't heard it once but it could just be blending in with the many other sounds going off when I'm doing my crafting writs with everyone else so I can't notice it.

This one is, given that it has a very good soundtrack, with over 12 hours of music, some of it very well written. As for the annoying sounds, well that's generally only in the towns/cities, so it's easy enough to avoid.

We need to organize a group of people and march through all major hubs while dooting.
