Well, did you buy the full package or only the "upgrade" version?

The (Blackwood) Upgrade / CE Upgrade basically adds the latest zone to your current ESO, whether it's base game only or all the way up to the previous Chapter.

The Collection / CE Collection will grant all the previously released Chapters, up to the latest one.

When on the store page, there will be 4 options somewhere just below the trailers and screenshots, so you should choose and pick carefully from there. If you scrolled all the way down the game description only talks about the (CE) Collection, so it's easy to be confused.

If you wanted the Collection, you can submit a request for refund and say you wanted the collection instead, this happens quite a lot.

omg why they have to make everything more complicated, anyway thanks for the response, gonna request the refund then, hopefully they'll gave me my money because i have 90+ hrs on the base game and less than an hour of the DLC

Well, i'd suggest to go through the "I have a question" option here, and then explain that you would like a refund for the "upgrade", that might work out quicker then trying the refund option directly, but ending up getting the automated answer that you have more then 2hrs played, and then have to explain it all over again...

Anyway, had the same problem here, i thought the "upgrade" version would include everything the "regular" version has except for the base game, but that isn't the case, way to confusing for my taste, so i ended up buying the Blackwood CE on Greenmangaming - paid 44€ there, compared to 52€ here on Steam.

I had to redeem that key through the ESO account web page, but that worked out fine, and i got everything unlocked in game.

Sorry for the late reply, started a Necromancer and was trying to get a Vampire Bite, couldn't find someone in The Rift, traveled therefore to Reaper's March, but no luck there either...

Steam are used to this. You shouldn't have a problem - especially if you intend to buy the Collection.

Well, that would be great, i can go to the shrines in The Rift or Reaper's March so that you don't have to waste time on getting there, which one would be the best for you?
Character name is Raymorn Ruckworld.

I've got mine camped at the shrine in the Rift. I'll let you know when I'm in game next. We're bound to meet up sooner or later :D

Well, i'm standing at The Rift shrine right now.^^

Was also looking for Bloodfiends in Reaper's March, found a map with spawn points, but every spot was occupied by Werewolf packs, not a single bloodsucker.

Thank you for the bite, playing through the Vampire questline right now. :fangs:

Interesting, started the quest in The Rift but got out into the world in Reaper's March...

why the hell isn't this more clear -- I also just bought the Blackwood upgrade because I only own the base game and haven't played since launch. The store page made it sounds like the upgrade edition would give me all the previous chapters, and the pricing made it seem like the non-upgrade editions were meant for people that don't already own the game since it mentions that it includes the base game, so I figured that already owning the base game meant I needed to buy the upgrade instead. ♥♥♥♥ me I guess.

Well, don't wait, go through the "I have a question about this purchase option.", and then ask for a refund right now, so that you can get the full package instead. You have to do this refund manually, otherwise it probably will not go through.
