Rattlecage after update 33.

So ZOS will merge major brutality and sorcery buff into one, so Rattlecage set will suffer stat nerf because basically it will contain only one major buff after it for a player and completely ruin the set by this, and i think they need to increase damage bonus to at least 250-270 or something like this.
Whats u think?

How can it be a stat nerf? It just changes two stats into one. The effects of Brutality and Sorcery never overlap as they apply to different types abilities.

Ehrm? Lets see, b4 33 patch - rally gives only weapon damage bonus + 15% stam recovery and rattlecage gives 20% of weap damage and 20% of magic damage. After patch - rally will give 20% weap and mage damage + 15% stam recovery, and ratlecage still give only 20% to weap and magic damage. Dont u see it? solo brut\sorc get a buff cause buff 2 stats andsustain and ratlecage still buffs only 2 stats and nothing more. Its a nerf.

Like i mean its nerf compare to overall stat increase in nest patch, now u get it? Like if everything become stronger but you - you become weaker))

So I looked at the Rattlecage set. Nothing changes with that set at all with the melding of the Brutality and Sorcery into one dual stat. It will be just like the above damage bonuses that apply to both types of damage.

Give me a sec to look at Rally.

Again, I don't see how it impacts Rally either. It just makes for a name change as the buff remains exactly the same. 20% damage bonus.

Brutality is Brutality. It does not matter how many sources of Brutality you have, only one can apply. They do not stack. And if they did, then the new buff would stack as well.

next patch 33 will merge brutality and sorcery. so for example without rattlecage u have now only rally - u dont have spell power 20% bonus without rattlecage, and after 33 patch u will have brutality and sorcery without rattlecage so after patch u losing stat worth with rattlecage cause 1 brutality or sorcery buff without rattlecage will replace its value. Rattleecage is hybrid damage set, and after patch every brutality or sorcery buff give u all hybrid stats and rattlecage losing its value at all, cause every single build can obtain brutality OR sorcery buff ability, so will obtain both, get it? After 33 update rattlecage will basically give u only 170 weapon and spell damage as 5 piece bonus what is pure crap))

Ok i guess i kinda got your problem and yeah it seems like Rattle gets indirectly nerfed as you will apply both Sorc and Brut with one "buff" in the upcomming patch.
This makes it a lot easier to obtain the (right now 2 different) buffs.
However i guess its only "rare" sets like rattle wich gets actually effected by this.

Overall i guess this might actually open the door for more diversity...
we already seen Hybrids comming back in pve and this might also push this....

BTW imho i dont play hybrid myself but... bahsei+kinra or smth not better? i mean a set just to get what you could achive by degeneration + Stam-potion? or classabilitys?

Ok, I understand the problem now. The patch makes Rattlecage less special which is annoying if you like that set. Rattlecage takes some work to get, but there are better sets out there which aren't as hard to get.

Not if u want dw-bow nightblade pvp build, and nightblade have worsе in the game for pvp brutality\sorcery buff (sap essence is worst ability in the game).

I think we should all wait and see how everything looks and plays before complaining about something that has not even happened yet. :)
